Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

Michel Pistor, a doctor in France, developed the technique in 1952. It was originally used to relieve pain. In the years since, it has gained popularity in the United States and other parts of the world.

Today, mesotherapy is used to:

  • remove fat in areas like the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, arms, and face
  • reduce cellulite
  • fade wrinkles and lines
  • tighten loose skin
  • recontour the body
  • lighten pigmented skin

"Both the doctor and the technicians were fantastic from start to finish"

Very happy with my experience. Did a combined FUT and FUE transplant. Both the doctor and the technicians were fantastic from start to finish. Would recommend to anybody planning to do the same thing.

"Crucially she listened to my concerns and was able to be open and honest about what we could achieve"

Really happy with my initial consultation with Regina. Regina not only took me through the whole process step by step but crucially she listened to my concerns and was able to be open and honest about what we could achieve with my hair density.

How it works

The technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin

The idea behind mesotherapy is that it corrects underlying issues like poor circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage.

There isn’t a standard formula for the substances injected in mesotherapy. Doctors use many different solutions, including:

  • prescription medicines like vasodilators and antibiotics
  • hormones such as calcitonin and thyroxin
  • enzymes like collagenase and hyaluronidase
  • herbal extracts
  • vitamins and minerals

Mesotherapy is an effective body and facial treatment that is minimally invasive, we use a series of superfine injections into the deeper layers of the skin to nourish and rejuvenate the appearance. Typically, this takes around thirty minutes and whilst not painful, it can be slightly uncomfortable, so an anaesthetic cream can be use, if the skin is a little sensitive.

In addition to improving skin tone and texture, mesotherapy infusions can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing blood flow to the area. When used on the face, you can expect to quickly see improvement in skin radiance.Little downtime is required for this treatment, although a little bruising and swelling may occur, but it should begin to subside within 24 hours of the procedure. While some patients may experience temporary redness or swelling after treatment, most report minimal side effects.

A course of sessions is usually recommended for the best results, although our HHC Specialist team will be able to create an individualised treatment plan for you and your desired outcome based on your skin condition during one of our consultations.

Delivering valuable substances direct to the skin’s mid-layer..

The series of Mesotherapy injections deliver your tailored solution of pharmaceuticals, vitamins and minerals and hyaluronic acid straight to the middle layer of skin, where they are effective! The process also stimulates the skin’s collagen production, as is the body’s natural response to the needle, encouraging new skin cells and improving the appearance of skin.

Who should consider Mesotherapy?

As Mesotherapy is an effective and efficient solution to such a wide variety of skin concerns on the face and body, it is a great option for many.
