Using radiofrequency(RF) therapy, Thermage treatments work by separating water molecules from collagen in the skin, giving an instant tightening effect and reduction in skin laxity. Thermage RF therapy is a great non-surgical alternative that offers lasting results, little-to-no patient downtime, and can be used on most areas of the body.
The thermage treatment involves an RF wand to go over areas affected by aging and, using radio frequency energy, heat up the collagen-rich layers of the skin, whilst vibrating and cooling the surface skin for patient comfort, to disperse water from between skin layers and promote the rebuild of tighter skin collagen strands over time for smoother skin.
